xGsoccer is the new standard in small group training and clinics. We provide a data informed approach to improve performance on the field.

xGsoccer is a data -
informed approach
to improve performance
on the field

 Objective

The main objective of all xG Soccer programs is to provide soccer players an opportunity to become a high performer by improving their technical, tactical, physical, and cognitive (decision-making) skills in a learning-centered environment.

High performers possess exceptional technical and tactical proficiency and are capable of consistently executing complex movements under match conditions.  A high performer status is achieved through many hours of high-quality training with experienced and qualified soccer educators.

Developing high performers is the main aim of all professional youth soccer Academies around the world.  In an effort to develop high performers, a significant and growing part of the training curriculum at professional Academies is Individual Development Plans (IDPs). In addition to team training, professional Academies provide individualized training through IDPs, where a player-centered approach is used to improve the skills of each player in a small group setting.

Because many non-professional youth soccer clubs have a limited number of training days (2-3 days per week), implementing IDPs is not always possible.  In order to bridge the gap in player development opportunities between Academy level and club level players, xG Soccer provides a service where club players can receive specialized training in their journey to becoming a high performer.

What we do:

xGsoccer implements an evidenced-informed approach to small group training, clinics, and camps.  We are based out of Nashville, Tennessee but we can also travel and provide clinics or camps in other areas both in and outside of Tennessee.

We offer two different developmental training programs: Shooting & Finishing and 1st Touch. The curriculum for both was created using scientific research and data to accelerate learning and performance among soccer players.

Shooting & Finishing:  The emphasis of Shooting & Finishing clinics and camps is on attacking principles of play with a focus on shooting and finishing. The clinics and camps are geared to the advanced level player and open to both attackers and defenders, including goalkeepers.

1st TouchThe 1st touch clinics and camps are designed specifically for young developing players ages 8-12 years: a crucial period for technical skill development. The main objective of the 1st touch camp is to provide young players with a training environment where the 1st Touch (technical skills) is developed using a 'games-based approach' and 'representative learning design' to maximize the transfer of training to match performance.
